Mike Bailey
Mike Bailey has been using REALbasic since the beginning and is now a software engineer at REAL Software. He has a lot of experience developing database applications with many different engines, and has also written a lot of server side software.
Aaron Ballman
Having been with REAL Software since 2001, Aaron has had the opportunity to work on many different parts of REALbasic. While primarily a Windows programmer, Aaron is also responsible for keeping an eye on accessibility, as well as much of the debugger functionality on all platforms.
Marco Bambini
Marco Bambini has been programming since 1986, first in BASIC and then in C/C++. He currently works for REAL Software and is responsible for the development of REAL SQL Server.
Andrew Bredow
Andrew has been with REAL Software for about a year and a half. He is currently responsible for maintaining and developing internal systems and applications at REAL Software. His interests include database application development, web technologies, music, and running.
John Callis
John Callis is the developer/owner of Clarity Legal Software, a small cross-platform software provider for the legal industry.
Carlos Carrillo
Carlos Carrillo is a Computer Security Specialist for e-fense Inc. Carlos joined the e-fense team after a distinguished 24-year career in the United States Air Force. During his Air Force career, Carlos achieved the rank of Major and held several key positions related to incident response and securing global enterprise networks. Between 1997 and 2001, he served as a Network Intrusion Officer for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. In this capacity, he developed and implemented unique tools used in conducting the network surveilance in support of network intrusion investigations. His groundbreaking efforts led to the identification and prosecution of intruders penetrating United States Department of Defense networks. Most recently, Carols held the position of Director of Operations, Network Operations and Security Center, Air Force Space Command Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. In this position, he was responsible for operating, maintaining and defending the global networks supporting space missions for the U.S. Air Force. Carlos earned a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Regis University in 1995 and is currently working towards completing his Master's Degree in Computer Information Technology through Regis University.
Andy Dent
Andy is a freelance developer from Perth, "the most isolated major city in the world." He predates the Macintosh and has been doing cross-platform GUI development since before REALbasic was a glint in anyone's eye. REALbasic is now his tool of choice, with occasional revision, C++, Python and Objective-C. He can be very boring about semantics and OO if encouraged.
Andrew Fahey
As a Computer Forensics & Security Specialist for e-fense, Andrew L. Fahey specializes in digital forensics media analysis, and computer crime investigations, systems exploitation, vulnerability assessments, and technology protection,. He leads product development for e-fense. He has developed several new procedures for digital evidence media analysis. He has developed a bootable live forensics CD called HELIX, which is in use worldwide by organizations such as SANS, NW3C, SEARCH and others for forensics training. In addition to the development of forensics tools and intrusion detection utilities Mr. Fahey is qualified as an expert in Computer Forensics and Computer Security in both Federal and state courts.
Prior to joing e-fense, Mr. Fahey was a member of the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), Computer Crime Investigations unit. Mr. Fahey holds a bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Texas State University, San Marcos. He also holds many industry certifications in computer forensics and computer security.

Guyren G Howe is president of Relevant Logic LLC, a software development consultancy. He is also the principal developer at actionitem.com.
Jon Johnson
Jonathan Johnson is President of Alacatia Labs, Inc. where he works with a small team of developers on a wide variety of projects. WIth many ideas centered in REALbasic, he has learned a lot about best practices managing a REALbasic source base with many developers. Jonathan contributes regularly to articles published on Alacatia Labs' blog. Additionally, he oversees and contributes to development of their products, including CalendarKit and the open-source REALbasic MySQL Plugin.
Bob Keeney
Bob Keeney is the Vice-President of BKeeney Software Inc. located in Lenexa, KS. He has a regular column in REALbasic Developer magazine and is the author of the BKeeney Brief's blog focusing on software development and REALbasic.
Paul Lefebvre
Paul Lefebvre is President of LogicalVue Software and the Community Evangelist for REAL Software. Paul has over 15 years experience developing software and has been using REALbasic since 2002. His company, LogicalVue Software, does REALbasic consulting and software development. Paul has written the database column for REALbasic Developer Magazine since 2002 and founded RBDevZone, the free community for REALbasic developers, in 2007.
Christian Miller
Christian Miller is the president of Pariahware, Inc., a consulting firm and shareware developer. Pariahware, Inc. has been a successful consulting firm since 2004 and selling shareware since 2001.
Jonathan Monroe
Jonathan Monroe is the co-founder of Actual Technologies, a company that develops applications for enabling Mac OS X users to access enterprise data sources. He is the lead developer for Actual's line of ODBC drivers, which are known for their high performance, low cost and ease of use. Jonathan has spent many years as a lead software architect, designing systems with high transaction volumes for the healthcare and publishing industries.
Jordan Morris
Jordan works in the VOIP and related Telecomm field. He is currently working on his
Masters in Information Security from Colorado Technical University. He has been developing
applications in one form of basic or another for over 14 years. He has worked with Visual C++,
C#, and dabbled in Java, but he always seems to find himself drawn back to the power and
simplicity of REALbasic. Jordan has developed Call Center software for integration into
Samsungs OfficeServ communications platform, as well as network monitoring and other
assorted commercial applications.
Geoff Perlman
Geoff is Founder and CEO of REAL Software, Inc. An avid computer user since the age of 10, Geoff has worked in the technology field for over 20 years. He has worked for companies in Silicon Valley and has founded other technology companies as well. Geoff is also the author of a book on database development.
Jeff Quan
Jeff Quan is a graphic artist who re-discovered programming through REALbasic. When he's not busy drawing, Jeff and partner Joe Strout create open-sourrce games for REALbasic, from first-person shooters to arcade and strategy games.
Nathan Regener
Nathan Regener spent seven years in the pixel mines of the video game industry where he worked on such titles as Thief: Deadly Shadows, Deus Ex: Invisible War, Guitar Hero III, the Sims Stories line, Barbie Pet Rescue, and many more. He currently works at REAL Software as a build engineer and process revisionist. His job includes hunting down abandoned code, and building an application deployment system that has evolved over ten years and spread across three platforms. In his spare time he MCs burlesque live drawing classes and collects pictures of knuckle tattoos.
Brad Rhine
Brad Rhine is the Data Manager for the Elizabethtown Area School
District in Pennsylvania, where he uses REALbasic extensively in his
database administration duties. Most recently, Brad began replacing
several commercial student information systems with a custom system
built in REALbasic and PostgreSQL. When not using REALbasic for work,
he uses REALbasic for fun at home, producing several shareware
applications such as Tangelo and Frequency.
Mars Saxman
Mars Saxman has been programming in BASIC since 1986 and working on compilers since 1995. He used to write assembly code for fun, but these days he likes to play music and go hiking instead.
Christian Schmitz
Christian Schmitz is developing software using REALbasic since 1998. He is the developer of the MBS REALbasic Plug-ins and several commercial applications. You may know him from reading his articles in the REALbasic Developer Magazine and the German Macwelt Magazine.
Scott Steinman
Dr. Scott Steinman has been programming since 1982 and is the author of two textbooks, several book chapters and dozens of articles on topics from vision science to computer programming. His projects have included the infant vision clinic at the Washington University School of Medicine, software for topographic mapping of multichannel visual evoked potentials, and sixty educational applications for teaching eye doctors. Scott is also an illustrator and cartoonist, and plays the tenor recorded, shakuhachi and synthesizers.
Mike Titlebaum
Mike Titlebaum currently serves as the Director of Software Development at Sirota Survey Intelligence ( www.sirota.com) in Purchase, NY where he oversees the development efforts of 15 web and database programmers. In his years of programming efforts, he has designed and implemented hundreds of SQL databases to solve complex business problems for a variety of small and large businesses including the Bank of America, Dell, United Health Group, Pfizer, TD Bank, Shell Oil, ConocoPhillips, and many others. Titlebaum is also a gifted educator, having taught a wide variety of courses at schools such as Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Westchester Community College, the Fieldston School in Riverdale, NY, the American Festival for the Arts in Houston, TX and the University of Rochester's Eastman School of Music.
William Yu
William has been using BASIC since the VIC-20 days, and before joining REAL Software, worked on a cross-platform BASIC programming language for Windows and Linux/Unix, before being acquired by REAL Software in 2000. He has worked for REAL Software ever since, helping to improve the Windows framework and porting the Mac IDE to Windows, then later helping to create the Linux framework.
Charles Yeomans
Charles Yeomans is a software developer in Lexington, KY. He has been a columnist for REALbasic Developer Magazine since its first issue and spoke at the first REAL World Conference in 2004.
Katie Yunker
Although Katie is married to a REALbasic user and advocate (Charles Yeomans), she claims no development or programming knowledge. She has, however, practiced law for 25 years and has taught a year-long course in contracts to first-year students. She has represented software developers and sellers in forming contracts and in disputes over contracts or licenses.
