REAL Software Announces REALbasic Design Awards 2004 Winners
AUSTIN, Texas (March 26, 2004)— REAL Software, Inc. announced today the winners of the REALbasic Design Awards 2004. Originally created to award excellence in software design, the REALbasic Design Awards have enjoyed a long history as the “Cubies.” Starting in 2004, REAL Software renamed the awards the REALbasic Design Awards to focus software development effort on software design. The criteria on which the software was judged included creativity, ease of use, design, utility and best use of REALbasic technologies.
“Categorizing and judging this software, as you can imagine, was extremely difficult. We received so many excellent entries, it was very hard to choose the winners,” said Geoff Perlman, president and CEO of REAL Software. “We’d especially like to thank the many REALbasic users who submitted software. They encourage us every day to continuously improve REALbasic to provide more and better features to help them in turn create some of the best software we’ve seen.”
