REAL World 2006, the REALbasic User Conference
AUSTIN, Texas (October 5, 2005)— REAL Software, Inc., provider of REALbasic, cross-platform that really works, announced today that REAL World 2006, the REALbasic User Conference, the conference will begin on February 27, 2005 at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown in Austin, Texas. Noted REALbasic authors and experts and REAL Software engineers will be presenting sessions at REAL World 2006.
"REAL World offers the best opportunity for REALbasic developers to gain insight into our long-term product planning for REALbasic," stated Geoff Perlman, president and CEO of REAL Software. "In addition, the conference is the ideal venue for software developers to learn to use REALbasic to the full extent of its capabilities, both from REAL Software engineers or other members of our vibrant and growing REALbasic community."
"REAL World has been the most valuable annual conference I've attended," stated Brad Rhine, data manager for Elizabethtown Area School District. "The topics were relevant, the presenters were experts, and even the food was great! It was a terrific opportunity to meet and talk with other REALbasic users and REAL Software engineers, who were very approachable, friendly, and willing to help however they could. I also doubt there are many conferences where the CEO mingles with the crowd after the keynote. I can't wait for REAL World 2006!"
A general overview of the conference is as follows:
- Keynote presentation by Geoff Perlman, founder and CEO of REAL Software.
- More than 30 sessions covering REALbasic topics at all skill levels, including introductory sessions for beginners and in-depth sessions for advanced users. Based on feedback from past conference attendees, the schedule has been extended by a half-day.
- Presentations by REAL Software technical staff and respected REALbasic industry experts.
- Social activities provided as a venue for attendees to get to know other REALbasic developers to build potential business relationships and friendships.
