An advanced techniques book would be very useful to a lot of people. And, the second edition is getting sufficiently long in the tooth that things that were true for RB 3 - 3.5 may no longer be true
We're getting way OT here, but I must add a note about Joseph's "rearrange my desktop" comment: If you are running Panther or that newer, non-discussable version, you should check out "Desktop Manage

This is where people differ, I would buy the hard copy. Read it away from the computer and then use it for reference. I think straight PDF editions would be suitable for developers. I'd buy a PDF ver

Once you have the pdf, you could print off the chapters you want to read away from the computer. I see why some want the hard copy, but I'd much rather have the pdf. Especially with the nice way Pre
