I have been one of those in the background usally not speaking up much, but I
also think that
this is a good idea. I too am a student of similar age and money starts to get
tight. I may not
use this kind of service, not being skilled enough, but I believe that is is a
good idea. When
I started with REALbasis the biggest problem I had was the $99 USD, for me it
was about $250.
Maybe REAL Software could take students into account when setting prices or
have a seperate
pricing. I would have gone with an academic
lisence but I want to release freeware, so couldn't.
Promotion and encouraging student to use REALbasic should benefit the community
as a whole so I
think that is should be done.
