Hello all,
I'm trying to do something that I haven't done in a while, and I CANNOT
figure out what I'm doing wrong, so I'm hoping someone here can help.
I'm WRITING a small application that we run on OS X using a WINXP
machine (in other words, WRITING and DEBUGGING are on WIN XP, but the
final app is meant to run on OS X.
From the WIN XP machine, I can run the application via DEBUG REMOTELY,
and it runs FLAWLESSLY... BUT, when I try to BUILD the application, it
ends up with a .bin extension, and I can't seem to figure out how to
convert this into a format that will work for OS X. If I double click
the BIN file, then STUFFIT decodes the file, which then becomes an
application which then CRASHES (kernel exception).
I USED to do this, and I remember it being pretty easy... (but this was
using RB 5.0)
Can someone help me here? Am I missing something stupid? Has there
been a change with RB 5.5 that I need to account for? Is this a
PROBLEM with RB 5.5?
Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.
