You know, there's a real opportunity here for a little
community-building. Anybody remember that funny web plugin that allowed
you to post notes that could be viewed by other users of the plugin? I
could see a collaborative help system emerging where individual users
would add notes and additions that would be shared among the user base.
Notes could be public or private.
To protect the integrity of the built-in help, they could be viewed in
a separate area, and a voting/rating/moderating system could provide
feedback and guidance concerning the quality of the content.
Sounds like a v6.5 feature to me... :)

I wouldn't expect that much. Our first new version of the help system
will likely duplicate the functionality of our current help system. We
would certainly like you to be able to add your own notes to the help
system but that's not likely to happen for v6.

this is a really good news (if the files are html, open html,
modifiable at will html).
Then, I will be able to add changes to _my_ local copy of the online
help:
a. add missing stuff, (when or if there are some)
b. add answers / clarifications made by RS engineers (and sent to the
lists),
c. add my comments
d. even add my own examples (better access to them)
Thank you in advance for that,
