Yep, you're making declares against Quesa. Just search the whole
project for "Declare" and you'll find quite a few.
These are mostly for UV animation (used in Renegades for flowing
water and lava, pulsing energy beams, jets on the drop ship, etc.).
I think we may have some morph animation in there as well, though I'm
not sure of that at the moment.
To get up and running, you could simply comment out all the code that
uses any declares -- it's possible your app doesn't need them anyway.
We've discussed (internally) not static-linking Quesa on Linux, so
that Rb3D projects with declares can work just as on other platforms.
But I'm not sure there's an official feature request for it. Feel
free to add one...
