Hi people!
I've got a problem. I'm figuring out how to connect to a newsgroup
server and want to display 13500 entries in a listbox.
1. the add method of the listbox is very lame (even in Classic), it is
simply boring to sit here and seeing the computer adding row by row
13500 times.
2. scrolling in a listbox in X is too lame.
3. when receiving the newsgroup list from the server the socket slows
down when ever I don't move the cursor. Weird.
What the hell can I do? Or where do I find a crash course for BSDSockets
for Cocoa?
