Hi list,

I´m having troubles with foreign characters in Realbasic and Openbase.
I´m using ISO LATIN 1 in Openbase, but the characters go all wrong.
In a WebObjects application the characters go right.

Any clues ?

I'll preface this by saying that I don't work for FrontBase any longer, but... If interenational characters and multiple clients are important to you, FrontBase is your database. All character data is stored on the server and transferred between server and client as Unicode (actually UTF8). During early development of the FrontBase Plugin for REALbasic, ensuring that the client behaved correctly so that multiple client platforms on different hosts could see the same character data was an important priority.

You can download a FrontBase server and the FrontBase Plugin for REALbasic from the downloads section of <http://www.frontbase.com>. I still highly recommend the combination.
