List archives? And a question about Finder AE...

Hi folks,

Is there a new mailing list archive? i've got one of these questions 
that have been answered numerous times, but I can't find an archive 
since bumpo is down.
And here's the question: How do I create an alias to a given file in 
a given folder using Apple Events?
And related to that, what app do you use for capturing AEs on classic 
(OS 9.2) and OS 10.1? I used to take CaptureAE but it no longer works.
