My *guess* is either next week at the QuickTime Live conference (hopeful),
or the WWDC. It's based on the MPEG-4 standard, or actually the other way
around... MPEG-4 is based on QuickTime. QT6 should have the MPEG-4 codecs.
I saw an interesting article about it recently. But the delay seems to be
working out the patent issues.
