Question 1:
If I have an alias record read from somewhere in this form:

can I pass it as a parameter and obtain a folderitem reference, for 
example using MacAliasRecord plugin by T. Tempelmann? How?

Question 2:
If I have only a path pointing to a file residing on a disk which is 
not available at the moment, can I make a valid alias file given only 
the path (original file being off-line)? How?
