Hi All, I'm having a problem, working with AppleEvents. It seems that it is not possible to get error messages set from an application. The sending itself is ok ae.send returns true. What I need is the error number or string. And this seems to be not possible. AESend (as a Mac OS function) usually returns an AppleEvent that contains the returned data as well as error codes. With the Replyxxx Functions, I only have access to the returned data. Accessing error infos is not possible. Is there any way to get that info? Or do have to use AppleScript? Cheers, Jens |
