Hey Geoff,

"We plan to release updated Oracle plug-ins to support Oracle 8i/9i and that
will run on Mac OS X. They will most likely be released along with v5."

And roughly how long will that be?

Are we talking 6 months, a year?

I plan on doing development on a very large scale commercial project. If it is a matter of months I can develop with the built in Real database and switch to Oracle when the plugins become available. It will take me a few months of learn/develop time to need the plugin.

Also, are the plugins going to be cross platform? Can I use them on Windows when they come out for OS X or will the Windoze version be out later?

Thanks for your response!

Robert

I am curious if there will be any support or is there any way to connect

up to speed. Is there any plans to catch up?
