This *might* be a permissions-issue - that's the only thing that comes to my
mind. I'd try to give everybody at least "read"-permission for the disk you
want to mount or even better, make sure that the "ignore permissions on this
volume"-flag is set. BTW: That's the default on iPod (if FireWire-disk-mode
is enabled).
