Mac OS X computers (all G3 iMacs, 10.1.5) don't mount any of my extarnal
disks - neither FireWire nor USB, not even my iBook in Target Disk Mode.
Nothing happens; Apple System Profiler shows the USB/FireWire devices,
but not as volumes.
From my experience it seems like it should work. I was shocked to
discover that an old SCSI Syquest drive I had laying around works in
X after installing a SCSI card in my G4. I didn't have to install any
software for it to be recognized, other than the driver for the SCSI
card. Now if only I could get my SCSI Orb drive to work in X.
