RBDB is one of many features of REALbasic Pro. Valentina is both a
technology and a product line, with some very attractive, unique
features. Provided a Valentina based product adheres to the the royalty
free terms in the EULA, then products made with Valentina for REALbasic
are, well, royalty free.
Outside of the EULA, its possible to license or resell Valentina, and
some have already done so since their products overlap somewhat with
forthcoming products from Paradigma (or their products are very
complimentary with Valentina and they want to make a more complete
solution by reselling Valentina).
To license Valentina technology outside of the EULA, there is a flat fee
+ a negotiated royalty. A vendor with a reasonably planned commercial
offering should have no problem affording this.
