Well, I have to admit, everything looks like it should work just fine.
The only thing I can even come up with to think of checking is what is
the duration on your success checking timer. Maybe the duration is too
short and you are sucking up the processor constantly tripping the timer.
But I don't think that will be it simply because I have an app that has a
really short timer period so that it basically WILL always be firing, and
it doesn't have any significant impact on the computer performance (and
certainly not enough to make the user think the machine has frozen).
