How I determine what my own program does? Well, just looked in the source
that I wrote myself!

What I meant was: are you sure that at the low-level they ARE in fact working on the same port. I believe 4.5 and before would let you try to bind to the same port (and let the underlying transport pick a random port for you). I'm just curious if this is the case for your situation (since I can't test it out until tomorrow).
