Hey,
I got a question according to fonts. If you want to select a color,
you
use the Color Picker proviced by Apple. Is there something similar for
fonts? You know, something like the window in TextEdit, where you not
only can view all fonts, font styles and the height, but also preview
the fonts, look for signs, buy fonts, etc.
I just don't want to reinvent the wheel...
Hi Pepe,
Yes, Apple has published the Font Panel API that you can use to add
this
functionality to your applications.

Thanks for the link.
As for font viewing and picking, those are generally stand-alone apps
(ultilies). There are many out there. Look at
http://versiontracker.com/ in
Font Tools. As a matter of fact I am developing just such a utilty
with its
very own flavor. The wheel reinvented? I prefer to think that I just
invented a better mousetrap...;)
I am looking for betatesters. Would you volunteer?
Yes, I can test your application. You got my e-mail address. Just send
me a copy when you release it to your beta testers.
Thanks,
Greets,
Pepe
