Is anybody else experiencing this?

I'm not. Sorry(?).

I certainly do. It seems to be somehow related to the fact that I had used an old RB 2 project containing strings with high ASCII characters which RB 5 didn't convert properly. What I got is multiple characters drawn on top of each other and on top of completely unrelated text in the same line, I hideous mess. I had to print the old project out to be able to read and retype the code by hand. Changing the IDE font didn't change a thing.

I also had invisible characters interspersed in the code seemingly at random, so that I got compiler errors saying that certain variables where not defined, although they where, but the compiler read the variable name as "visible variable name" + "invisible garbage behind the scene".

And I am not sure that this is all. I just still don't know when it happens and why.
