Sure, if it can be done from C/C++, it can be done from RB.
I'd like to write a MIDI editor for a piece of gear I have hooked up
to a USB MIDI device.
There are other MIDI users here too -- I'm one, though I haven't yet
updated my MIDI interface from an old serial-port one (what USB
interface do you recommend?), and I believe Mars is too. I bet there
are others as well. So at least you have company. :)
