If I use PICT as the format for Mac what do I use for the Windows side? Martin David, Do I have to use StringShape for all the formats below?> To get a vector PICT, you need to use the vector graphics classes (e.g. StringShape) instead of DrawString, DrawRect, etc.as Joe mentionedOn Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at 11:46 PM, Martin Fitzgibbons wrote:I thought TIFFs held bitmap and vector as well.Nope. TIFF is pure bitmap. Common vector formats include: Postscript, EPSF, PDF, PICT (there is a vector and bitmap version). All these formats can also include bitmap data as well as vector. For PDF I highly recommend the Monkeybread plugin. ----------------------- David Austin --- A searchable archive of this list is available at: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/search.php> Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listmanager/>--- A searchable archive of this list is available at: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/search.php> Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listmanager/> --- A searchable archive of this list is available at: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/search.php> Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listmanager/> . |
