Hi Mangus,

I have a version of the WASTEfield plugin that I have kept vaguely up to date for a clients project. Its based on a less than recent version of WASTE which I have altered to provide full tabbing and hyphenation (of english) support.

the plugin _does_ work in carbon :)

I believe I still have an original version of the plugin around somewhere,
if you are interested email me off-list and Ill see if I can compile it for you and send you a copy.

Yours cheerfully,

        Andrew Bush

I'm still not able to find any information on having text full justified in an edit field (and this seems like something RB should have included anyway,
since full justification is almost a de facto nowadays)

The EditField is not meant to provide full word processing
capabilities. If you need this, you'll need to write it yourself.

Yes, I understand that RB edit fields aren't meant to be used as full-blown
word processing, but full justification seems like a basic formatting to
have since we have left, right, and center.

I guess I'll have to do without because I have no idea how to write a new
type of edit field (I'm still a beginner) and I can't even find anything
about RB supporting kerning or spacing modifications to even start trying to
create full justification.

Real Programmers consider "what you see is what you get" to be just as
bad a concept in Text Editors as it is in women. No, the Real Programmer
wants a "you asked for it, you got it" text editor -- complicated,
cryptic, powerful, unforgiving, dangerous.
