Rb 5.5 versus 5.5 fc2

I have both Rb 5.5 and Rb 5.5 fc2 on my machine.

1) 	When I select File -> New, I get additional Template choices under 
5.5 fc2
                Empty Service.rb
                Event Driven Console.rb
        Just curios about this... should they be there in 5.5?

2)      When I click on a .rb file, the OS opens 5.5 fc2.
        Mac OS X 10.2
        How do I cause the OS to update to open 5.5 instead?
