We have been working on getting additional materials on how to control Excel
and Word from REALbasic online. Unfortunately I do not have anything
available right now
I understand how long it can take to revise polished examples with screenshots.
I also understand that there's a certain minimum level of quality you
want to maintain in "official" documentation.
But
1) RB has a strong and well-disclaimed beta tradition - there's no
reason why docs can't be published in a beta area and programmers
would be grateful for small mercies and understanding of quality
issues (you may find you benefit!).
2) when I see someone say they don't have *anything* my first
reaction is that the programmers are working without a specification.
This is not confidence inspiring. If there's not even a test script
for people to go through, how can we trust that the feature has been
tested at all?
In particular, if you had a set of examples, does this mean that
nobody at Real has tried converting those examples to 5.5?
