I am trying to get SMTP Authorization working. SMTP Authorization in RB
v5.2.x does not appear to work, as discussed in several previous threads on
this topic (seems the server expects a "EHLO" response instead of "HELO").
Hence I upgraded to v5.5.1, but alas, SMTP Authorization still does not seem
to work.
I have confirmed that when using Apple's Mail program, and entering the same
SMTP server, login, and password, that mail can be delivered through this
server.
Can someone else please confirm that SMTP Authorization does or does not
work in RB v5.5.1? The bug report regarding this topic seems to indicate
that this problem was fixed with v5.5a7.
