I have steered clear of composite windows but now students want to use
them to access the metal windows.
When we put a canvas on the window and then draw a string to the canvas
it works fine but when a second string is drawn in the same location it
doesn't erase the previous one even if we draw a fill rect over the
top.
Should we be refreshing the object somewhere?
