CodeWarrior 10 for Mac has just been announced. The pro edition
even seems reasonably priced.

I'm confused a bit, because I thought CW was end-of-lifed with the
onset of the Intel Macs, and XCode ruled from now on. Steve would
certainly have us think so. :-)

CodeWarrior can build CFM/PEF binaries which Xcode can't (and will
never) do, and Xcode builds universal MachO (x86) binaries which
CodeWarrior can't (and will never) do. So depending on your target(s)
you may still need both. Keep in mind that Metrowerks sold their x86
compilers and baring an event akin to pigs flying this will be the
last CW release, so take Apple's "move to Xcode" mantra to heart.

FWIW, I use CW fairly often still. I especially like the compare files - I have yet to see better - that's actually why Im posting; Does anyone know of a better file compare? I think CW will die pretty soon for me, but I
cant bear to part with their awesome compare.

Have you looked at FileMerge that comes with the Apple Developer tools
It does a nice side by side diff of files visually
