CodeWarrior 10 for Mac has just been announced. The pro edition

I'm confused a bit, because I thought CW was end-of-lifed with the
onset of the Intel Macs, and XCode ruled from now on. Steve would
certainly have us think so. :-)
Yeah, poor old CodeWarrior got cut off at the knees by Apple's move
to Intel processors. I believe they sold off the iNTEL versions of
their compilers (to Nokia?) and signed a non-compete as part of that
deal.
That said, if you have projects built with the an OS9-only version of
CW that you want to bring forward, then this is a reasonably-priced
path. I like PowerPlant (and still occasionally miss the ability I
had in PP to trace through the framework to understand what's going
on).
It's too bad it's the end of the line - it's impossible to compete
with a good, free competitor though.
