Some impressions regarding RB 2006R4, probably of interest for newbies:

My impressions are primarily based on migrating apps from 5.5.5 to 2006R4.

Pro:

- Compiled apps are (very) fast on Intel Macs
- The IDE is very responsive on Intel Macs
- Migrating RB 5.5.5 apps is relatively simple and straight forward,
as long as you tried to use pure RB code
- Each app took less than 2 days, some even less than one day
- Migrating SQLLitePluginPro-based code to RealSQLDatabase is very simple
- The compiler is much more strict than 5.5.5

Con:

- RB 2006R4 crashes at least once an hour, often each 30 minutes,
thus it is wise to safe very often

What I'd like to have:

- A SQLitePluginPro to RealDatabase converter
