[Off] Linux distros and Parallels

Has anyone successfully installed a linux distro (any of them for  
Intel) on Parallels 3.0? Can MacOS X burn the .iso (or whatever it is  
they use) CD images, or is there a converter to turn them into .dmg  
for Disk Utility to burn them?
