The HIG for OSX says:

Full Size: 16 Pixels

Small Size: 10 Pixels

Rb 5.5.5 is 12 Pixels

Rb 2007r3 is 20 Pixels

You can always adjust them somewhat but they seen to flip between sizes.

Weird.
