Hi Tim,
My Mac is way too old to run OSX, this is on a Linux system. But, if it is a 
X11 problem, why does it only affect apps made in RB and not any others?

A Capital H in any other program measures about 51 pixels high. The same 
letter made with g.DrawString measures 72 pixels.

I don't have the xfs config file that you mentioned in your other email and 
looking through the /etc/X11 folder I don't see anything that looks like it.
