Thread-topic: Memory Leak on Leopard - r4 vs r5
So I know the RB apps memory leak on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard has been
mentioned a gazillion times already on this list and one of the culprits
seems to be pulsing default pushbuttons... But I thought I would add my own
findings just in case this helps anyone.

Upon testing one of my apps for release, I compiled in both 2007r4 and
2007r5 and found that while both r4 and r5 compiles of my app leaked as
reported, I found that the 2007r4 compiled app leaked a LOT less than the
2007r5 compiled app.

Of course, depending on the needs of your own projects, your mileage may
vary, but if anyone finds themselves needing to release their app for
Leopard before this Leopard-related memory leak is fixed, you may want to
try compiling it in 2007r4 instead of r5.
