It's not really a file, it's more like a control panel. Bear in mind 
that this won't reflect browsers that aren't IE.

Anyway, looking on my virtual machine, I see some History.IE5 files in 
every profile but my main one, and they're just zip files with an 
index.dat in them. I don't know why my main profile doesn't have one, 
and doesn't generate one even if I deign to use IE, but that's all I 
could really find.

Most, if not all, of the information on URL history should be locatable 
in the registry too.
