I guess it's all the multi-tasking that has been required of me in
meatspace that has made me leery of it inside the computer ;)
It's hard to find time to work much when you have 37 minutes until the
next feeding and you only had 3 hours of sleep last night... My kids
are older now but they still dont sleep very well... I thought I was
more flexible than my wifes job so sure honey, I'll work at home and
take care of the kids... I dont regret a single minute I spent with
them instead of RB ;) But still, hard to catch back up again!
As far as threads, I've just spent the morning implementing a system
for keeping my disk structures up to date as things are updated that
is threaded rather than called inline and slowing things down. We'll
see how that works and if it causes trouble you're all going to hear
about it!
