Thanks Joe, the pointers are much appreciated.

Would you (or anyone else) mind putting up the rb3d faq archive in 
something other than .sit?  (Stuffit Standard requires you to buy it 
without trying nowadays and the free version doesn't support older .sit 
files... so unarchiving .sit on Windows or Linux is not overly doable.)
