No I did not. I didn't understand this stuff because I didn't have  
experience with it. I said that if I had taken a CS course, maybe I'd  
have experience with it. This does not mean or imply that

a) I need the CS course to understand it
b) The CS course would teach it

This is my exact quote: "This is likely due to never actually taken a

My comment was simple:

- If I had taken a CS course, it would be more likely that I'd have  
experience with this particular subject -

You are way over-generalizing to make yourself sound superior to  
everybody else. Congrats, you know it without the course, along with  
thousands of other people who also managed to learn this without the  
course. And you know what? Now I know as well.
