Apple did make a significant update to Applescript with Mac OS 10.5. That *might* have something to do with it. My production group at The Day Job can't run any of the scripts I've written over the years on our new Intels. A lot of the scripts can be run but then just hang. I have yet to see what happens with any of the RB-related stuff. Finding the cause of all this is on the docket for next week, and if I find anything related to RB or that could help, I'll post.

We might just be lucky but we have many, many scripts here and nothing has broken with Intel machines. I re-wrote a couple into RB just to avoid having to use a couple of dependent OSAXen - perhaps there's some PPC OSAX code which is breaking things?

cheers
