Well ...as the Mac gains popularity it will be targeted to more
 piracy.
Just as M$ has been for years......
Former red hat now RHEL has legal clones so many free distro's for
 user's
 to choose from

Honestly I don't see why any piracy of Mac nowadays would be a big
 shock...
The more market gain(share) the bigger the target ;-)

And if the clone can run an unaltered version of Leopard or Tiger cool !
I really dont care if Apple likes that or not
But lord knows that the hacks are that allow OS X to run on this
hardware and what that does to the OS
Obviously Sam's getting weird crashes that only occur on these
machines so something is different

I don't use Nor target Mac's (no dis at all...Just not my thing)

I do target M$ and linux rpm and Debian Distro's(as many as I can ;-)

So I'm not to familiar with Mac's stringent hardware requirements....can it
be worse than vista???..:-)

Anyway I feel the pain of piracy...

Just saying the more popular a OS becomes the more it will be a target of
piracy and other crude acts of bad people trying to cause mayhem....
