Just Some thoughts...
If someone is using it on an unsupported system, "hackintosh",could
just say, tuff luck, your using it on an unsupported system. Get a real
Mac.
What I was pointing out (and the OP, I believe, agreed) was that this
could be kind of a cop-out if no steps are taken to see if it *is* a
legitimate bug first, or at least see if non-hackintoshes are affected
as well.
I'm not saying that your thought is *wrong*, I'm saying there is another
way to view the problem reports, and it's odd especially if the software
is running unmodified (I haven't looked up recent directions on creating
a frankentosh) and it's running, without problems, 99% of other software
for the Mac. Why suddenly crash RB-generated apps?
There "software" is more or less tied to the system. Its not like you could
put a Wii game in 360 or a 360 game in Wii etc... and play the game.
Can't you? I know you can run linux on playstations, and linux has
emulators for other consoles...
According to Psystar this would be a monopoly. Console makers prevent
users from use the software on what ever hardware they choose.
Yeah right...
Monopolies are when you cry sour grapes about not being able to
penetrate their market loudly enough :-)
Actually I think monopolies are when a company uses their position in a
market to unfairly crush others trying to penetrate the market, but I'm
not a lawyer.
