the realbasic IDE has this really nice searchfield directly in the toolbar under both Mac and windows. I wonder if RS uses their toolbar class and add some declares to make that happen, of if the toolbar is a homebrewn control altogether. I've used the one by Charles Yeomans here: http://www.declaresub.com/CodeIts Mac only but its pretty good. The only trouble that I have with it is that I can't figure out how to keep it aligned to the right when the window resizes! Probably just something simple that I haven't figured out yet. Now for Windows... that's a good trick (and a lot of work) that RS has accomplished there.
