I use an iMac, but it was a PC that I've seen this on. Thanks for the info. I'll just have to figure out a Plan B.

You must be using a Windows PC as that is the only place I've seen this. It has never been a Mac option and Rb hasn't specialized on any one platform for a while.

I think that RS is now focussing on the cross-platform API's now and platform specific ones are not included. Considering that the dirty close button in OSX has never been covered directly, it is not inconsistent with their current releases. ;-)
