Flickering during resize

My app is not complex but flickers severely when I resize it. I am on 
Windows Vista, RB Professional 2008r5.1. Any thoughts on making it not 
flicker so much? By flicker, I mean the controls disappear, reappear, 
all of them, one by one. Now, the app is responsive and speed of 
resizing is just fine, but the flickering is very, very annoying. I 
would guess that someone evaluating the software would be pretty turned 
off by this as well.
