Norman, if you could check on that, and also about my finding that the  
Win32 DLLs are roughly 2x the size of the Mac .dylibs, it would be  
appreciated.    Going back to compiling with 2007R5 for this one  
aspect of my product which needs to be small, is a not-unreasonable  
possibility.
