I have a project to create a book reading web app. The client also wants to be able to download the book and view it on the desktop without an internet
connection. Realbasic came to mind as a possible solution.

I would like to use the same HTML and javascript in the desktop version. The only difference is that the desktop version would communicate with a local RB webserver. The books are searchable so I would need to search a local database and return html to the client. Other than that, I would simply send back static html with local references to css and images. Has
anybody done this before? Suggestions? Please let me know.
