That's very odd! What change can prevent deleting in an order rather than another order?

I just found an old entry on Aaron's blog:

http://ramblings.aaronballman.com/2005/04/How_to_Delete_a_Folder.html

I haven't read the whole post yet, but in his last comment Aaron gives a benchmark for deleteing a folder on Win XP:

Benchmark data (Windows XP, 3408 items):
Looping backwards: 1 minute, 15 seconds
Deleting first: 16 seconds

Thank you. The benchmark is a a real proof.
