Jeromy,
Unfortunately, REALbasic apps are not fully standard Win32 apps so you
cannot alter the manifest after a build. There is nothing preventing REAL
>from offering us a preference/property at build time for elevated
privileges.

I've put in a feature request for this a couple of months ago. I'd recommend
everyone interested in this feature to do the same.
